BUTEX Admission Circular 2022
Basically, they are published admission circular for undergraduate students in the month of April. So, this year also admission announcement you can hear on this month. Let’s see the important information of this circular.
Application Start Time: 5th April 2022.
Deadline: 8th, May 2022.
Admit Card Download Start: 24th May 2022.
Last date of admit card download: 6th June 2022.
Admission Test exam date: 18th June 2022.
Admission Test Result Publish Date: 8th July 2022.
Application Fee: TK. 200.
Application Fee for written exam applicant: TK. 800.

BUTEX Admission Applicant Eligibility
If you want to apply for admission, then you have to know the eligibility of applicant. Please below eligibility for qualifying yourself.
- Candidates must be a Bangladeshi Citizen by birth.
- At least 4.50 grade or similar grade point in SSC or equivalent examination.
- Candidates must be pass HSC exam in 2021 from science group with minimum 4.50 GPA.
- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subject at least GPA 4.00 and combine GPA at least 19 for those subject.
- If you are an English medium student then must B grade on “O” level exam at least five subject.
- The “A” level examination must have a minimum “B” grade in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and must be passed in 2020 to 2021.
- ‘D” grade will not be accepted in any examination.
BUTEX Application Procedure by SMS
If you are eligible candidates, then apply now. The application system is SMS based. So, you need to apply by sending SMS from your phone. You can also use your parent’s or other’s guardians mobile. Remember, your use phone number is very important. Because all information are giving on these phones. You must be use teletalk SIM.
- Go to write message option on your phone.
- Write BUT give a space.
- Now write the first three letters of your HSC board name in capital letter and give a space.
- Input your HSC exam roll number and give space.
- Input HSC exam passing year and give another space.
- Then write first three letters of your SSC board and give a space.
- Then input your SSC roll number with a space.
- Input your SSC passing year.
- Now send your message to 16222 number.
Example: BUT DHA 215421 2021 BAR 653263 2019.
This format use Dhaka board and Barisal board. You need to input your own board name and roll number. But you must be follow this formation. Otherwise, your Admission process not done.

Dhaka Board (DHA), Rajshahi Board (RAJ), Chaittragram Board (CHA), Dinajpur Board (DIN), Sylhet Board (SHL), Jessore Board (JES), Cumilla Board (CUM), Barisal Board (BAR), Mymensing Board (MYM), Madrasha (MAD), Technical board (TEC or VOC) and English midium student (GCE). Application Fee Payment Method:
If your application is done by 1st SMS, then you will be received a reply SMS. They are providing your name, application fee and a PIN on this SMS. Now you have to pay application fee by sending second SMS.
2nd SMS: BUT<space>YES<space>PIN<space>Your personal phone number and send it 16222.
Example: BUT YES HJ45J5H8 0184******.
If you have enough money on your mobile, you will be notified via a return SMS that the application has been successfully accepted.
Written Examination Date
Basically written exam was held on 2nd week of June. But before the written examination the authority publish total 9000 selected candidates list for written examination. These candidates only participate on written examination. But you have to pay written examination fee, TK. 800.
The method of written examination fee payment is the same as application fee payment. So, follow the application fee payment option.
How to recover PIN?
If you are forgetting your PIN and remember User ID then follow below method.
BUT<space>HELP<space>User<space>User ID and send it, 16222.
Example: BUT HELP RONI 1541245.
How to recover User ID and Password?
BUT<space>HELP<space>PIN<space>PIN number and send it, 16222.
Example: BUT HELP PIN 484548.
How to recover User ID, Password and PIN?
BUT<space>HELP<space>1st 3 letters of HSC board name<space>HSC roll number<space>HSC passing year and send it, 16222.
Example: BUT HELP DHA 252125 2021.
BUTEX Admit Card Download
You will be able to download to admit card after sending the written examination fee properly. In that case you have to click on the link below and click on the link written in the “BUT”. You can then download the entry form by uploading your photo and signature. However, your picture and signature must be in the correct format. If you are new, follow the guideline below.
Photo: 300*300 pixel and file size not more than 100 KB.
Signature: 300*80 pixel and file size not more than 60 KB.
BUTEX Admission Test Result
The admission test will be held 18th June 2022. The date may be change for any unpredictable situation. Don’t worry about the admission date and time. The authority will be informing you admission test date and time by sending SMS on your phone. Now we are known about admission test marks distribution.
Bangladesh University of Textile Engineering Admission Test Marks Distribution:
The admission test will be held on written based. And it will be 200 marks exam. The question pattern you can find out from previous year admission test question.
Mathematics: 60.
Physics: 60.
Chemistry: 60.
English: 20.
Total 200 marks written type examination will be held. The merit list will be make by written marks. Exam question will be making by based on 2021 SSC and HSC board exam based. So, you can follow your previous year HSC exam paper. There will be no MCQ type questions.
Both Bengali and English question papers will be given. Maximum 3000 candidates list will be primarily selected. The authority will be to publish selected candidates list on their official website. You can also download the list from our website.
